SCBA
A self-contained breathing
apparatus or SCBA is a device worn by rescue workers,
firefighters, and others to provide portable, breathable air in
a hostile, IDHL-environment. An SCBA can be either an open or
closed circuit.

Air-Purifying
Air purifying respirators use cartridges or canisters constructed
of carbon or paper-based filters to remove contaminants or particles
from non-IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health)
environments. Air purifying respirators that rely on the user’s
inhalation to draw the ambient air over the filters are called
negative pressure air purifying respirators. Those that utilize
blower to pull the ambient air through the filters and then push it
to the user are called positive pressure air purifying respirators.
Air-purifying respirators have numerous applications from
construction and automotive repair to pharmaceutical and oil
production.

Compressors Systems
High pressure breathing air compressors used to fill SCBA
cylinders for use in the fire and industrial safety markets, as well
as SCUBA cylinders for use in diving. Compressor systems are
comprised of two components: a compressor unit, which compresses
clean ambient air, and a fill station, which both fills a cylinders
and provides containment safety during filling. Compressors systems
are available in both stationary models for use in permanent
installations and mobile units for use on scene.

Instruments
Gas detection instruments are used to determine the presence of
toxic or combustible gas in an atmosphere. Portable detectors can be
worn by a user for constant personal monitoring or can be used to
detect a specific area for the presence of toxic gas. Fixed system
gas detectors are positioned in a permanent location for constant
monitoring of a particular area in a manufacturing facility or
processing operation, such as waste/water treatment, semiconductor
manufacturing, chemical and petroleum operations, pulp and paper
plants, and power utilities.
